Proverbs 3:5-6 (New King James Version) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

There was a time where I was physically ill and on my deathbed. I had no idea what was going on and I asked God if this was it; he told me that he wasn't done with me yet. A few days later God showed me this verse as a reassurance that he was guiding my life.

What kind of music do you have on your iPod?
Well...I have a whole bunch of stuff on it but I have a mix of music [Jeremy Camp, Metallica, Lady Gaga (YES I said Lady Gaga, haha)], sermons [Heart of the Bay, Joel Osteen, old Pastor Paul Sheppard], podcasts [Dave Ramsey Show, Xbox Live's Major Nelson Radio, etc...]

What is your favorite Praise and Worship Song and Why?
"Our God" by Chris Tomlin. This is a new song written for the Passion 2010 conference. The first time I heard it, I had to learn how to play it. It actually inspired me to get back to learning to play more recent praise songs. (Click Here to Listen)

Do you have any Pets? Kids or both?
Nope don't have either!

What was the first concert you ever went to?
The first one was AC/DC at the Oakland Arena in '96. I think my first Christian concert was Michael W. Smith and DC Talk right next door at the Oakland Coliseum in '98.

What inspires you to do what you do?
Knowing that there is hope out there through Jesus Christ. I have this God given desire to let people know about him through song.

Tell us a little bit about how you came to Christ (age, where you were, etc.)?
I was 16 years old when I came to Christ, but the journey started two years earlier when Chris and Mike invited me to come with their youth group to go to Great America. One of the requirements was to go to their church's youth group at least two times and they would pay for your ticket. I went and never stopped going to church since then.

What inspired you to start playing music?
When I was 5 years old, my mom asked what instrument I wanted to play. I said I wanted to learn piano and that was the start of my musical journey...

Anything else you'd like to share?
I'm honored to be able to serve God though music and side by side with my closest friends. So far it has been an interesting ride filled with ups and downs, but God has been there the whole time and he will continue to be there with us!
