Favorite verse/passage and why:
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Nothing happens that surprises God. He has good plans for each and every one of us. It’s all about allowing Him to work on us so that He can bring those plans to fruition. I love knowing that I don’t have to worry about the craziness happening all around me. God has it all under control.

What kind of music do you have on your iPod?
All kinds of stuff (I like The Beatles, The Eagles, Third Day, Jeremy Camp, Pink Floyd, Elvis, Willy Nelson, Johnny Cash, Mercy Me, Merle Haggard, Randy Travis, Collective Soul, David Crowder Band)

What is your favorite Praise and Worship Song and Why?
I really love David Crowder Band’s ‘You Alone’. That song moves me every time I hear it.

Do you have any Pets? Kids or both?
I have two daughters. Meghan is 8 and Madeline (or Maddie as we call here all the time) is 6.

We have 3 cats, 2 fish, 1 teddy bear hamster, and 1 mouse. The kids want a dog something fierce but I think we’re at maximum capacity right now thank you very much….LOL.

What was the first concert you ever went to?
The first real concert that I went to was No Doubt and Bush at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington in 1995.

What's one of your favorite movie quotes?
From Raiders of the Lost Ark:
“Snakes…why’d it have to be snakes?” - Indiana Jones
“Asps…very dangerous. You go first.” - Sallah

What inspires you to do what you do?
I get inspired when I hear someone tell us what a blessing our music has been to them. It’s always awesome to hear how God is using us to bless others.

Tell us a little bit about how you came to Christ (age, where you were, etc.)?
It was in August, 1997 when I was 23. I had been discharged from the Navy about 9 months earlier and decided to move to Newark, California to live with my Aunt Linda. She’s a wonderful godly woman who would talk to me frequently about the Lord. I began to read the Bible and understood for the first time what she had been explaining all along. I asked Jesus into my life and he has been changing me and molding me into a new creation ever since.

What inspired you to start playing music?
The first time I heard the Led Zeppelin song “Rock n’ Roll” I knew I had to learn to play guitar (I was 18 at the time). I was just blown away by that song at the time. I would sit for hours a day from then on teaching myself chords and scales. My musical tastes have changed a lot since then but initially that was my inspiration for really focusing on playing.

Anything else you'd like to share?
I just want to thank my beautiful wife Heather and my two gorgeous little girls for their love and support. I couldn’t be more blessed of God to have such a wonderful family. I love you so much!

I also want to thank my fellow band mates who are all like brothers to me. It’s a great privilege and honor to know and serve with each of you. We’ve been through some valley’s over the last few years but it’s only made us stronger and better. I love you guys!
